Cardio Queens/Strength Training Queens

I do cardio for at least an hour, hour and a half almost everyday and a couple of bodyweight/kettle bell sessions a week, sometimes I do power yoga as well. I could be better with my diet. I eat mostly clean except I drink soda sometimes. Other than that lots of salads, almonds, coffee, eggs, etc. I pretty much love every form of cardio-swimming, water jogging, dance, elliptical, hiking, jump rope, rowing, boxing, sledding-you name it. I'm looking into getting into rollerblading in the spring, and would love to get to try kayaking or snowshoeing. I have a bunch of workout dvds-power yoga, tae bo, kickboxing, dance, zumba, weight training, punk rope, and my bike on a bike trainer and my kettle bells. You can add me.

Wow girl, sounds like a personal training job would be a perfect fit for you.0 -
So...strength training? Kettlebells?
That's a lot of cardio. I'm proud of myself if I do 2 hours a week.0 -
I've looked into fitness instructing and personal training. I'm not really big fan of using weight machines.0

Whatever to reach your goal, except crossfit.... That looks bat *kitten* crazy!0

Actually yes, I don't like it, it's not my thing, but I'm not going to make fun of her because she likes it. It's actually really good exercise for you.0 -

Sorry just seemed alittle rude to me, sorry if I misunderstood, but for me if it challenges you, it's gonna change you.0 -

Sometimes we joke. If someone phrased something similar to me about doing barbell glute bridges I wouldn't take offense.0 -
Sorry been on here a day and I've seen more bashing then helping, a lot of people with self esteem issues shouldn't be questioned, they should be helped.0
-
I have done it and I enjoyed it because it was more fun than the treadmill, I love anything to do with water. I'm like a fish.0
-
Yeah, wasn't trying to bash--was trying to be more self-deprecating about it. This is why I need to use smileys more often...
Teach me how to love pool running! Please!0 -
Oh it's okay, I've had stuff happen on here. That's the internet for you.0

Wow, that's (genuinely) really interesting! I'm a swimmer and a runner, but pool running is just *deadly* to me. It should be the perfect combination of everything I love and yet it is just...ugh. Maybe 'cause I can't watch YouTube videos during it like I can on the dreadmill.0 -

Lol the dreadmill!!! I've never heard of that. I think I might have to steal that one from you.0 -
Hmm well I would suggest listening to music, if you can invest in a an underwater iPod that helps. Otherwise I mix it up, I swim some laps, go and o some water jogging, swim some laps, and I repeat it as a circuit. I'll swim maybe 1/2 mile and then incorporate some running in there for like 10 minutes and then finish up with the swim portion and I might do another running interval. Or you can just do 30 min running, 30 swim. My legs feel like jelly when I do.0
-
Wow.... You would wear me the hell out!0
-
Sorry in training type of sort of way inject foot here0
-
Hrm, yeah, maybe breaking up the running with swimming would help. It's an amazing workout and GREAT for landrunning, I absolutely agree. I'm jealous that you enjoy it!0
