Hi all you gorgeous people out there!

I thought I would start a vegan recipes thread for all of you who are vegans or maybe not...for those who aren't vegans and think vegans starve...trust me, we don't! Try this awesome cookie recipe that has no sugar, flour and eggs! Crazy huh?! Wait till you taste them!
3 mashed bananas (use ripe bananas woohoo)
1/3 cup apple sauce (no pork chops and apple sauce)
2 cups of oats (yeah, it's what horses eat and rarely do you see a horse with 2 stomachs)
7 Almonds or Walnuts pieces (optional if you are not into nuts)
1/4 cup soy milk (almond milk or whatever floats your boat)
1/2 cup raisins (optional darlings)
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon (Cinnamon lowers your sugar levels! Use it every day if you are a diabetic)

Bake these yummy creations at 350 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.
Ciao down and oh....you should share them with a few freinds otherwise, you might pull a Houdini on these babies and make them disappear in one sitting.

Hi BM, I am going to try - sounds yummster!

How about this recipe.... EASY FRUIT SORBET!

Take any fruit preferably strawberries, peaches or another berry. Cut them up into pieces Add sugar or any other sweetener to taste.
Cook the mixture until it boils. Pour into a container that has a lid. Let it cool down a bit.
Then, place the container with the mixture in the fridge.

Wait till the mixture begins to crystallize - don't let it freeze...not yet.
Take out of fridge, pour mixture into a blender. Blend it till soft.
Pour the mixture back into the container.
Place in the fridge till the mixture freezes. Use an ice cream scooper - the sorbet looks like a professional chef made it.

    Voila! Fruit Sorbet!

For people who miss eating potato chips, make these kale chips and you are not going to believe how yummy they are. You are going to be so surprised, I promise!

    Kale Chips
Wash a bunch of Kale. About a one pound or more.
Cut out the vein (Stem) from each leaf.
    Now...
Preheat the over to 200 degrees.

Take the kale and cut in strips. Just roll them up like a stick and chop strips..voila!.

Put all the strips in a bowl and season with:
Garlic powder or onion powder (both if you want)
    Salt to taste
    Paprika about a teaspoon.
Olive oil - just enough to coat the leaves.

Bake the strips until crispy. Warning: the strips cook fast so don't burn them. I have burned a batch or two and wish I knew that before hand.

Crunch, yummy tasty chips and good for you too!

    See you later alligators!

I will check to see if I can download online. I am overseas, hard to get specific books in English. Thanks for the tip Alcia!
