    Hi there. First off, have you ever been to a show? If not, I highly recommend going to one before you compete. It helps to understand a little more about what to expect!!

    Im 8 weeks out from my first figure comp. Im using guides from joe mancini and also karen sessions. Theres lots of utube videos on posing and most of the shows have websites with photos of competitors from previous year. If you go to a show go to the prejudging part, the tickets are cheaper and its going to show you whats expected better than the evening show which is more for entertainment. I bought my suit and shoes off ebay. It can get exspensive very quickly.
