Difference in calories burned on Elliptical and what MFP says

I usually spend 35 minutes on the Elliptical at YMCA and calories burned shows around 200 or bit higher. MFP for 35 minutes shows 703. Why the big difference? Could it be that MFP knows my weight and age and I don't enter this in the Elliptical at the Y?

No. Unfortunately, MFP overestimates calories burned while exercising. I really doubt it's even possible to burn 700 calories doing 30 minutes of anything. I would go with 200 as your burn.0

When I enter 35 minutes in MFP, can I change the calories burned, i.e. from 703 to 200?0

Yes, just type over it in the box0
