Yep, log it and move on. This moment is brand new. :)

Also, look at how far you've come! Over 30 pounds lost is amazing!

I did the same - was Valentine's Day treat - today been a better day ... I think as long as you are honest with yourself and get back on it you'll be ok
  • Thank God we can start over daily. I overate the last two days....I could have exercised before bed but chose not to. It's a new day...fresh start. I find the weekends are hard but I can stay on track during the week.

Awesome. And now you are remembering that eating is part of life and some days you'll eat more, some less. It's not a big deal. And if you can't deal with one day of it, then it's time to rethink things (my maintenance is around that so it's truly no big deal for me).

I've been overeating for a month and am afraid to get back on the scale, but I did get back on the wagon yesterday and already feel much better.

I've been overeating the entire weekend because I'm ill so I just can't be bothered with weighing stuff and cooking (getting out of the bed at all is an accomplishment) so I'm snacking on whatever is currently in reach. But I'm not too worried because as soon as I'm well, I can get back on track. One day (or a few days) does not mean anything in the long run. As long as you don't let a minor glitch ruin your mood and motivation. It's not the end of the world

How far over was that for you? And then you have to think how far over maintenance was it? You would have to go 3500 calories over maintenance in a week to gain a pound. If it bothers you that much, some people spread the calories out over a week. I just get back on track the next day.
