Feet fall asleep while running

I got new mizuno wave riders 16 after having no problems with my older wave riders 12. The new ones are horrible. I found my left ankle had rolled while running on flat pavement. And my feet felt numb 20min in both on pavement and treadmill. Has anyone had this problem? Are the shoes too tight? Should I get some sport gel insoles to help?

I haven't a clue what's going on. I'd just suggest running in your old shoes to rules out an injury. If it is the shoes, take them back.
I get numbness in my left foot, but I have nerve impingment. Good luck.0 -
