Looking to get down about 25-30 pounds from a combination of fat loss and muscle gains. Any tips and positive comments and motivation welcome from new friends!

Lift heavy while in a calorie deficit. Save some muscle mass, lose fat, reveal the muscle you already have. Once you're at an appropriate body fat %, bulk to gain muscle.0

People say you can't gain muscle at a calorie deficit but I beg to differ. I'm no scientist at all, but if you are lifting and cutting calories, your muscles will respond. I need to do the same thing. Protein is your friend.0

I agree with 1234usmc. I'm lifting and doing cardio and creating a calorie deficit, but most importantly I'm making sure I'm getting the appropriate amount of protein everyday. It worked for me in the past.0
