New to the group

I'm new to the group and think it would be beneficial to make friends to help through my journey. SW 272.2 CW 259.4 (-13.5)my GW is 150 and I've consistently logged into MFP for 36 days. My weight loss has started to slow down in the past couple weeks, but I'm still losing about 1lb per week. Has anyone noticed a fluctuation in weight during your menses ? For exercise I'm using an exercise ball every night, but it's nothing major. I feel like incorporating to many new things at once may cause me to get discouraged. Have people had success using MFP alone ? It would be great to connect with people who need to lose 100+ lbs.
