i need motivation

I am lazy,i am overweight,im a mum,don't have many friends I socialise with.
Want to lose weight for health,confidence, and live longer.
Have been on here for while,not doing everything by the book,need nudge and friends would help with ideas.,tight budget with money and not always able to buy fresh food weekly....

The best advice I can give anyone is that persistence trumps everything, including, and especially, motivation. Motivation comes and goes, and that's natural... it's how feelings work. Committing to and pursuing a goal to lose weight, without regard to motivation, or even in spite of the lack of it, is the only sure path I know of to success. Eating less and moving more, day in and day out, lead to weight loss. It is not about perfection (we all slip), but it is about picking yourself up after a slip and pressing on. It is not easy, but it is simple. What we make as a priority is the thing we do.0

That motivation has to come from within, there is nothing anyone can say or do that will make you change your ways, only you can do that. Dig deep down inside and ask yourself, where would I be if I had made that decision a year ago today??

Do you really want to lose weight and improve your health? You need to motivate yourself. Friends may encourage you and possibly even inspire you but ultimately - it's up to you to stop making excuses (I used to make all kinds of excuses....even way back to trying to blame my skinny mom for my lack of motivation for exercise and proper nutrition...unreal...) and start making choices that will make you succeed.
YOU have to do it. YOU have to want it more than you want anything else. So...do you?0 -

find some pals on here with similar goals for support, but the one thing you need to learn is that the only person who can do it is you...
noone can make you, each morning you have to decide that you're going to make good choices that will help you get to your goal... do this 80% of the time and you'll get there!0 -
Thanks guys,I appreciate the comments,I keep telling myself only I can do the work.me and my sis had fun on wii the weekend and I did over an hours exercise. It was also fun to do.
I also found out I have lost weight without knowing I have so I'm even more determined to achieve my goal.thanks for advice and good luck to all of you.0
