Mini success!

I hope mini successes count (sure they do). I am on day six since I signed back up (but actually started 5 days ago). I just weighed this morning (after a large cup of coffee) and I'm down 2 pounds! I have been very good at sticking around 1200 calories and exercising (step aerobics) for 4 solid days. Today will be my fifth day. I do other exercises but don't count it all. I pace my driveway, clean house, lift some weights. I just started adding additional exercises 2 days ago just because I am feeling like it **smiles**. It's the mini success that jump started today! I love the ache in the back of my calves! Here's to another successful day!

Thank You! I know I won't always feel motivated like this, but I have done this before and mostly the wrong way... ie starvation, water diuretics, etc. I really made a mess of myself in the past. Last year when I started MFP for about a month I did ok, lost some weight, but I got depressed over the holidays and gained back plus more. I am really working on my attitude and self respect now. Therapy has been helping as well. I have not posted much, but I have been reading posts and stories. I did not want to start posting until I felt serious and stopped bs'ing myself. I will be updating more. I just need to get the courage to take a before picture lol.0

I almost forgot how great it feels to get out and walk and now I'm doing it throughout the day. I'm not even thinking about it for weight loss when I'm doing it. I am doing it for the rush! The side effects will be better shape and health:) I just have to control not weighing everyday. For me it's major mental and I may get bummed if I don't see that darn thing go down. MFP is keeping me focused and real (as real as I can be). Makes me excited for summer!0

I love walking outside, too, and basking in the Vit D! I live in the south and we've had some gorgeous days.0
