Adding Protein

I'm finding that my daily intake of carbs is too high and protein is too low. Does anyone have some suggestions of easy foods, particularly snacks for between meals, that would help me boost my protein intake?

You could buy dedicated protein bars or a protein powder.

I have exactly the same issue, so I have protein powder that I sprinkle in porridge or add to smoothies.

Expect that quick and portable proteins will also have a little added fat. Like nuts.

Easiest snack if you don't want to do protein bars or shakes would be any kind of low fat dairy, but especially greek yogurt.

Also meat if you like it as a snack. I sometimes like smoked salmon.

Hard boiled eggs have a decent amount of protein too.

Try not to resort to bars or powders unless you're really stuck on other options. Protein from real food is usually better.

Lean meats, fish, eggs, dairy, beans, tofu, tempeh, soy, lentils, chickpeas... there are lots of options. Depends what you enjoy eating and how.

If you make your diary public, you might get some suggestions on how to make small changes to your meal plan to up the protein percentage.
