Skinny Cow now makes candy bars

I had a lot of extra calories to work with today so I decided to treat myself and lo and behold by the checkout was: Skinny Cow Heavenly Crisp Chocolate. Normal candy bar sized, 110 calories with 50 calories from fat, 1 g fiber and 1 g protein (obviously I'm not eating this for it's health value but it's still good that it's there haha). But the best part was that it was DELICIOUS. No fake chocolate taste, very satisfying as a reward and to satisfy my chocolate craving. I love their ice cream every once in a while, but this was even better. Just wanted to share :flowerforyou:

I recently read a report on 'good' foods to eat. The report was about foods to choose that won't kill your diet and Skinny Cow products were on the list as a dessert to have.

Most of their ice creams have high fructose corn syrup and I bet the candy bars do as well. So many "lower calorie and/or lower sugar" foods have HFCS and other crap in it.

Yummmy..that so rocks..I love the Skinny Cow ice cream. Can you tell me where you found this? What store, and was it in the actual Candy Aisle, or the Diet Food Aisle. I totally have a huge "sweet tooth" but only at night, and I usually have one (hopefully only one) sweet each night before I go to bed. I am constantly searching for a good chocolate/sweet that is great tasting, decently produced, and low cals..please share

I work for Walgreens and they are our item of the month right now. Should be right near the front checkout at most stores. There is even a coupon in the monthly book for them. They come in three flavors: there are clusters and a chocolate bar and a peanut butter bar.

They aren't even advertising the candy bars on their web site..must be super new, which means we won't see it here..

Thanks! I've enjoyed other Skinny Cow products in the past. I'm always on the look out for yummy treats that won't tip the calorie scale

I tried both the clusters and the candy bar! Yum! And as someone said..not the best, but if you wanna have something sweet and reasonable, not your worst choice either...btw...I got 'em at Walgreens!!

Haha yup I was at Walgreens and it was right at the register just like v****ens said. I try to sparsely treat myself with chocolate so I may get some more and toss them in the fridge because I have a feeling they won't start showing up in many stores for a while.

I just saw this in my "hungry girl" email yesterday! I am so looking forward to finding these! Glad to hear the positive comments about then.

BTW I am just going to put this out there because tonight was the last straw, for me personally, to see this! She was giving feedback about a new thing she found! I don't think she needed the "it is high in this, that, or the other thing!" I am very sure that if we all really put the time and effort into it we could find this, that, or the other thing wrong with or find something "bad" in this, that, or the other thing, in just about EVERYTHING out there! Is it really that hard for you, as a person, if you don't want to try something, or think something could have this bad thing or that bad in it, to just move along and go onto to the next post? Why must you leave a comment? I am going to flat out say that I am sure I have eaten some things that some people "just wouldn't agree with" and guess what? I don't have cancer, I am healthy, no weird diseases, and I HAVE LOST 110 POUNDS!

Just let people be excited about their finds and if you don't agree, or wouldn't POSSIBLY ever eat it, ZIP it and move along!

    How much are they?

I'll buy the skinny cow 6 pk of sandwiches when they are $2.50, but most of the time they are $4.50, way too much for me. I don't even really like vanilla ice cream, but I love the vanilla skinny cow ice cream sandwiches. (I also love the vanilla It's It ice cream sandwiches. Maybe I do like vanilla ice cream.)

Sounds yummy, thanks for sharing! I don't get why people are getting so upset about it. Its candy. Candy isn't meant to be a health food. It is just a healthier candy than some others! Lighten up people!
