hello!
I go by Sosa by pretty much everyone. In May of 2014, I weighed in at 273 pounds (gained pretty much an average of 15 pounds per year at asu). I decided to workout and diet before my big trip to Japan and Korea at the end of August to September. I actually ended up losing about 30 pounds and after my trip, I actually weighed 238 (probably from all the walking). Since my trip, I've been working out continuously but I stopped my diet. I weighed myself a few weeks ago and was actually 262 so I gained back a bit of weight lol. I just discovered this app and its quite a lovely app to keep my calories on count. It's difficult to go back to my diet last year because it was pretty much purely torture so I decided to change things up.

I'm looking to compare types of diets, workouts and maybe types of recipes that would be considered healthy (but good!). Maybe also to keep track of goals and discuss any articles related to nutrition. My goal is to hit 220 by the end of this year in preparation for my trip back to Asia next year in February.

Are you a 3 big meal kind of guy? Do you like snacking?

I would probably say breakfast is my smallest meal just the fact that I work at 715 in the morning with lunch being my biggest. Dinner usually I snack from carrots and a salad with maybe a can of peas or green beans. I actually like snacking a lot since it reduces my first and last meal of the day but my snacks usually consist of carrots/broccoli and a small serving of cashews so it's a bit brutal lol

Probably 3 big meals is not that good for myself because it's tempting to eat in between them, hence why I usually have snacks between times with smaller meals

Would you say the weight you gained is muscle from all of your working out? That could sometimes be a reason for the weight gain. Try to eat 6 small meals a day breakfast being the biggest meal of your day.

Definitely a lot of it I would consider muscle because I can tell that I kept off the bad weight and feel much stronger than I did back when I was just purely cutting. That was torture lol. Currently I'm just doing small meal for breakfast, carrots as a snack, bigger meal for lunch, cashews and some fruits as a snack then dinner is something smaller than dinner and mostly consists of vegetables lol
