Hi I'm doing this cause I got lax about eating and exercise again lol. I want to knock off 30 pounds in the next year or so and get my cholesterol back on track. I have lost and gained weight generally a 2 year cycle of up then down I'm going to give fitness pal a real serious try. I have always found it fairly fast to lose weight but it goes back on just as fast so I need to make this lifestyle an enjoyable one and stick to it.

Definitely! That's the key to weight loss and keeping it off. Find something you can do that's sustainable long term for eating habits. Also remember not to completely deprive yourself either. An occasional treat is ok. I tell everyone to follow the 85-15 rule. If 85% of what you eat is healthy you should stay on the right track.0
