A good amount of those 5lbs could be water weight.

Or maybe you just aren't seeing it yet on the measuring tape. An inch is actually quite a lot to lose -- 5lbs probably won't do it.

Or maybe your body loses first in other spots than the waist.

In any case, stick with it.

I think I lost up to 10 cm(maybe 15cm) in my belt after losing 30kg.

So what's that in Ye olde imperial? 4 inches for 65 pounds? That sounds low.

Yeah I was just tryin to give the op an example of weight loss to waist size lost.

Seemed lower than expected. If that ratio continues I might have a healthy weight but a large waist. Not great for a guy, good birthing hips :)

To really see a difference in measurements, strength training is your best friend.

Well I've lost just shy of 30lbs and I've only lost a few inches from my waist! Here's a picture:

I probably only have a few more inches there to lose at most too. I guses if you focus on the one area it really is not a good gauge of overall loss.

Although I did buy that skirt after losing about 10lbs so I have probably lost an extra inch or something on top of what shows.
  • True that I lost 30 pounds also before and I couldn't tell a diffrence! Well I looked the same but inche wise I can tell

Your probably right. I think I'm just being to hard on myself since I was in great shape last year, and I ruined

Patience. 5 pounds down, you're not going to see much.
