Ipod pedometer...

I just got my first Ipod. It's a nano 7th gen. I know I'm so out of touch with the rest of the world (I don't even have a cell phone). Anyway I was wondering if anyone else has used the pedometer on their Ipod. How accurate is it? I googled it and got mixed reviews.

    I'd say it's more of a reference than a dead-on indication, but it's never too far away from my Fitbit's reading.
