Ive played almost every sport you can name growing up, and I'm an active gym member (3-4 times a week). HOWEVER, you heard me.. I can't touch my toes. *knocks on wood* I'm pretty lucky I haven't hurt myself or pulled anything before. Lately I've been working on stretching (aka one day hahaha) but how long Is it going to take until I'm pretty flexible? Im fully aware I lack with patience, but im working on better myself with that as well. :) thank you fitness pals;)

Hey!! I'm in the same boat. I was a competitive swimmer for years and I played basketball for a while. I mostly run and swim now but I've never ever been able to touch my toes either!! It's my New Years resolution for this year. I actually have already started to feel SOME progress after a month and a half although I definitely need to be more dedicated :)

I'm going to try to go to yoga at least twice a week at my gym and I've been trying to do basic stretching every time I work out.

I'm going to send you a friend request! :) maybe we can keep each other updated on progress

I was never able to even as a child. When i started doing stiff-leg deadlifts, i gained some flexibility in my hamstrings. Still not able to but i can reach a bit further.
