Does anyone know why Fiber is not part of the food log chart? I feel that this is important when keeping track of the kind of food we are eating

I know that manufacturers don't have to report the fiber content. That's voluntary.

That depends on which chart you are asking about. The pie chart on the mobile apps only shows total carbohydrates, which includes fiber - I won't comment on the net carb debate. On the Web version, the default display on the Food Diary includes Calories (required), and carbs, fat, protein, sodium, and sugar. On the Web version, you can change five of the nutrients displayed by navigating to FOOD > Settings and choosing different macro- and micronutrients to be displayed, including fiber.

You can change what you are tracking. I did. Aim for 25-35 G a day. Also, you can see it under report daily..on the left next to the water intake.

Some people, like me, need to make sure they are getting enough fiber or we get constipated.

I also changed mine to show fiber. You have a choice of the things to track on the website. On the app, it shows everything so there's no question.

I track my fiber. On the website, you can change what you see in Settings<Diary Settings. :)
