Protein shakes definitely keep me fuller for much longer. I use casein protein powder. Casein is a slow digesting protein, thus keeping you fuller longer. I mix mine with almond milk, so a cup of almond milk and scoop of powder is only 180 calories. I always use a blender with Ice to give it a smoothie texture.0

Quest bars definitely. Honestly I don't like the Pure Protein stuff, except their soft baked bars that I haven't been able to find in months.0
-
Quest last longer and feel denser, but I prefer the taste of pure protein.0

Quest. Pure Protein does not make me feel good at all! I felt sluggish for some reason and my workouts didn't have that 'umph' that I get from Quest, Muscle Milk, and EAS protein products.0

Quest. I don't really like Pure Protein, but I'll eat them in a pinch.0

Pure Protein bars taste terrible.0

Quest bars for me. I think it's because I have to chew so much to get them down.0

Protein powder will keep you fuller longer but Quest would probably be tastier. Have you ventured into other protein powders? Lots to consider besides the one you suggested. Long time fan of Trutein because of it's macros and taste. Although there are also others that come to mind.0

Protein drinks never keep me full. It's like my body doesn't associate drinking with nutrition. I could drink a 500 calorie protein shake, and I'm still going to be hungry in an hour.0

peanut butter, honestly.
Then the quest bars, but I'm not digging the chalkiness.0 -
Quest bars for me too, but they are so darn expensive! I'm with some of the people above shakes do not fill me up at all.0
-
Same here, I tried to do the whole "protein shake in the morning to stave off hunger" but never ever worked.0

If I drink lots of water with my protein bars the pure protein normally keeps me fuller longer, but quest bars taste so much better lol0
-
I don't notice much difference, they both will keep me full for a few hours. I eat a Pure Protein bar just about every day, and Quest bar several times a week.0

Quest for me.0

I am confused about why people are talking about protein powder.0

I never tried Pure Protein. However, Quest Bars usually fill me up for at least 2 hours.0

What keeps me full for longer is not thinking about food0

Pure Protein bars a pretty good. If you are looking for a candy bar, this product is not that. It is merely a nice snack to tie you over for a 2-3 hour period. I recommend eating it once a day on non-workout days and twice a day on workout days. At 190-200 calories, you could easily burn that off on a very active day.0

Quest bars dont do jack for me. I need actually proteins or a protein shake with added fruits and such.0

This. SO much. I forgot the flavor my friend gave me, it tasted like beef jerky covered chocolate.

I think i'm in the minority. I much prefer Pure Protein to Quest. The quest brands i've tried, not loving the texture at all. I definitely prefer pure protein texture, and taste too to be honest.0
