First Spartan Sprint Tips?

Morning everyone!
Tomorrow I will be *attempting* my first Spartan Race. It's a 4 mile Special Ops sprint/obstacle course through the Tampa Bay Bucs stadium. Anyone have any tips? I can run and do the stairs but anything to do with having to climb a rope will most definitely result in the 30-burpee penalty.
I completed a Warrior Dash about 3 weeks ago and really enjoyed it. The tall wall climbs were not as bad an expected but they did have a few foot holds to help. I'd appreciate any insight you all have on the difference in difficulty between the two and how to best prepare the night before/morning of?

work on upper body strength and run stairs is all I would say. my upper body strength killed me during mine. and if you have to do burpees you have to do burpees. it happens. I did.... 60? spear throw and rope climb.0

Advice on training will be useless at this point since the race is tomorrow, but I will say to take a Camelbak, wear absolutely no cotton, and have a great time.0

This, except I really don't think you need a Camelbak on a Spartan Sprint. After I did the Super without a Camelbak, I regretted not bringing one, but the 4 mile Sprint will be fine without a Camelbak and it's less weight to carry.0 -

After doing the Super without one, I wear one just walking down the street
(kidding)
But really, I'd take it just in case. 4 Spartan miles are different than 4 miles to the rest of the world.0 -
A Spartan Sprint in Tampa = no camelbak. The PA Spartan Sprint (ski slope) = camelbak if you aren't decently trained for it. 5 miles with an average completion time of 3.5 hours in 90 degree weather....yeah it was brutal.
But yeah at this point just go have fun, get addicted and be better prepared for the next one0 -
I'm doing the Spartan Sprint in North Carolina in April. Any advice on training for the next 7 1/2 weeks??
