Help me settle a disagreement between myself and my boyfriend! We both consider ourselves Coke connoisseurs, and always comment on how good or bad the coke is at all of the restaurants we go to. However, we staunchly disagree on which restaurant has the BEST COCA COLA EVER. I say Olive Garden, he says McDonalds. Weigh in!

    I asked our resident Coke connoisseur, my wife, and she says McDonald's. Mind you we haven't been to McDonald's in over a decade but she says their Coke was awesome. Sorry Spartan :)

    I've given up soda, but when I used to drink it, I would go to McDonalds just for soda. It's something about how they have their fountain soda ratio set of syrup to seltzer. The best!

    McDonald's.... They even did a study on this. Its because of a combo of their filtered water system (even used in ice) & the temp of the syrup. I will go out of my way for a Diet Coke from MickeyD's!

    i don't do soda much except as a mixer.. but it is all the same Coca cola syrup mixed with carbonated water at restaurants and fountain serve in stores, so it really comes down to water quality and amount of carbonation.

    Yeah McDs is pretty damn good. But Coke in a can near freezing is the best for me.

    I doubt Olive Garden is doing anything special to help their product, while McDonalds keeps their syrup bibs and water lines chilled so the product never gets warm. It's beautiful. and you can get a large diet coke for $1.00 at McDonalds. yeah, McDonalds wins this one.
