So I enjoy tuna and pasta, together, tuna pasta. But I generally find myself having it with mayonnaise because it's just very dry. Mayonnaise is very fatty, So I'm wondering if anybody has any interesting or different ideas on what can go with tuna and pasta?
Thank you.
Thank you.

You could easily modify by adding pasta.0 -
Try Tuna Puttanesca. It is a spicy tomato sauce. I use tuna in water in this recipe.foodnetwork.com/recipes/rachael-ray/tuna-puttanesca-recipe2.html
Try avocado, lime like a ceviche. skinnytaste.com/2014/04/canned-tuna-ceviche.html
Try Cucumber and very little mayo. I have made this with tuna. soupspiceeverythingnice.blogspot.com/2013/02/salmon-macaroni-salad-with-cucumbers.html0 -
I substitute greek yogurt for about half of the mayo and sometimes add in reduced fat sour cream. Mix in a little lite Italian dressing or vinegar along with spices. This makes it taste rich and creamy.0

Use shirataki noodles that really lowers the calories alot. A whole bag of the noodles is like 15 to 35 calories.0

I've actually been eating a lot of tuna pasta lately. Below is my little creation:
1 can tuna in water
1 serving pasta
2-3 tbsp of hidden valley light buttermilk ranch dressing
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
50-75 grams avocado
Garlic powder
Salt
Fresh ground pepper0 -
Greek Yogurt or cream of mushroom soup.0

Not the calories I'm lowering, just the fat content0 -

I will try this the next time I have this meal! Thank you for the input!0 -
I usually make a tomato based sauce with tuna, olives, capers, red onion and bell pepper or broccoli or so for some extra veg. Pesto works well too, if you want to lower the fat content, there are a bunch of recipes out there for pesto made with white beans instead of a ton of olive oil. It won't taste like a traditional pesto of course, but it's a nice basil sauce0

I like to put evoo, garlic, onions, peppers and cherry tomatoes all chopped up and well mixed. Also, try FlavorGod seasonings. They are low in sodium and come in a variety of flavors.0

I make a tuna pasta salad with chickpeas, red bell peppers, lemon juice, olive oil and a bit of dried herbs and a salt substitute0
