Since I started cutting calories I haven't had a lot of energy. I'll try to exercise and then will give up because I feel like crap. I don't know too do about it. What kinda foods can help me feel energized.

I think you need to eat more. I'm only a little taller than you are, more than twice your age, and I lose on 1800-2000 cals a day. With only 22 lbs to lose, you don't want too large a deficit in your daily cals, a small cut from what you burn all day long will be much more sustainable, and you'll feel a heck of a lot better in the process.

If you set your weekly loss goal to 2 lbs a week, go change it to 1/2 lb a week. And when you exercise, eat back at least a portion of your burned cals.

I haven't been exercising, I actually started doing this because I gained weight. I was 170, I lost 30 and I gained back 13. It's just very difficult for me because when I lost weight before I was going to the gym everyday and not counting calories but just not overeating and I felt great. Now that I rarely have access to a gym I'm trying to eat less to make up for it.
