So they ain't totally fruity, but interesting.

Just picked up a pair, anyone run in those?

    Yes. I have my blue, red, and yellow colored Newton Gravitys. Great running shoe. Now that you bring them up, I need to use them more often!

    The pair I got was of the yellow Gravitys.

    Felt surprisingly good.

    I sometimes run in the Newton Distance. If you have a neutral foot strike they are fantastic. I like the low heel-toe drop most.

    Well, frick. I thought this would be a somewhat useful thread, like maybe comparing traditional fig vs one of the newer flavors. So disappointed in MFP this morning.

    For me, they work.

    The other option was some foot coffin from Brooks. The New Balance had my feet flopping all around. The Saucony were ok, but just ok.

    As for newtons being fruit and cake... I haven't had those in forever. Do they make them with strawberry or cherry?
