i have my account set to 40% protein and 30% for the other two. Is that good?

    Has to add up to 100

    Mine is 50 carb, 30 protein, 20 fat but it's whatever works for you

    I just pay attention to getting 100g protein each day and ignore the other macros really ...it's calories that matter for weight loss

    I need to loose 20 pounds. Her carbs is set at 50.. Would you want that lower for weight loss?

    You don't have to lower carbs for weight loss. You lower your calories, that's why you eat in a caloric deficit.

    I like carbs though ...they are some of my favourite foods ...I just made my diet work with what I like to eat and threw away everything I thought I knew about dieting ...I just focused on my calorie defecit across the week and learned to balance my required volume of food with the proper portion sizes to hit my defecit

    I dropped my 48lbs across 8 months that way and am working on maintenance at the moment
