Hey all!

I joined about two weeks ago and I'm happy to say I'm still going strong. I have always been interested in fitness and nutrition, and this website seems to be a great way of analyzing and improving exercise and eating habits. My only inquiry/concern is that the strength training portion of exercise is not taken into consideration whatsoever. I know it's easier to measure calories burned with cardio, but there has to be some way strength training can be taken into account... especially after spending countless hours lifting weights at the gym!!

PS - I have to say I am very impressed with all of your results thus far. Hard work pays off... keep up the good work!

I have to agree! I wear a heart rate monitor, and when I do strength (with little cardio in between), I burn over 500 cals in an hour, but when I try to put it in, it doesn't match up to what is on here..

Hey, welcome to the site. You can add it under strength training in the Cardio section - it gives you an amount of calories burnt (although I wouldn't go by the accuracy).
