I have managed to gain 30# over the past 5 years. Stopped formal exercise d/t aches & pains which was finally diagnosed as fibromyalgia & not arthritis. I am on medication at night which is helping but has weight gain as a side effect!!I started my fitnesspal for Lent and am going to stick with it. I have to lose this weight. I like the program so far, but I am finding I tend to eat more when I earn calorie points by exercising! Be strong & avoid temptation!!

I've gained ten since menopause. I am determined to lose all and then some. Tracking here keeps you honest. Do not add calories back. If at all possible try to walk daily. That will begin the process of losing and toning. Be kind to yourself by eating those foods that fuel your body and are going to be helpful with your medical condition. Best of luck to you!0

I followed MFP religiously and lost 20 lbs with no exercise other than my normal job. My goal was not to lose weight but to log in every thing I ate and stay under my calories god the day. It worked. I hid the holidays and blew it big time. I'm not Catholic but I will stay on track til Easter like you. Thanks for the encouragement.0
