2 weeks!

I have two weeks to go until my final weigh-in for my Biggest Loser Competition. Any tips for these last two weeks? What about the last couple days with cutting water weight? I've done it the healthy way this whole time. These last two weeks is crunch time and I'm ready to do some crazy crash diets or whatever it takes to get these last 9lbs gone! I would really appreciate any suggestions! Thanks guys!!

    A glass (or 2) of wine the night before will cut the water weight, just make sure you factor it into your calories

    OH really!? How does that work? I don't drink alcohol, but that's interesting to hear! I was thinking I could just get wasted for the first time ever the night before so I throw up a lot! ;)

    Haha, I don't know that I'd go that far, but alcohol is a diuretic, so it flushes the water out of your system (basically, dehydrates you). I know I am always a couple lbs lighter after a night out drinking (unless I give into drunk munchies, be careful with those!)

    Not a long term plan, but might help you drop some water weight before weigh in. Just don't drink any water before you do :)

    Search for weight cutting. You're going to be looking at carbohydrate and sodium restriction (in the week before), fluid restriction (1-2 days before), food restriction (probably only the day before), and extra sweating (day before and day of) via exercise, sauna, etc. There's also the possibility of diuretics and laxatives, obviously you want to go as gentle and natural as possible on those. Wear light clothes too. :P Good luck.

    Thank you for the tips! I looked up weight cutting for fighters and they had some intense, but good tips. I think I'll do some light laxatives a couple days before and really eat light the last week/days. What about working out? I've just been doing cardio, cardio, cardio. I don't want to gain muscle weight... Not yet at least.
