Satay Sauce - 115 calories per generous serving!

Made this tonight and it was fabulous. Had it with chicken breast and stir fried carrot, spring onion and cucumber. Can't believe how good it was for so few calories! Tonnes of protein in it too.
  • 1.00 tsp, Rice Vinegar
  • 2.00 g, Ginger root - Raw, grated.
  • 0.25 tsp or one generous pinch Red Pepper Flakes
  • 25.00 g Peanut Flour
  • 5.00 ml, Dark Soy Sauce
  • 5.00 g, Garlic Paste or puree
  • 3.00 g, Dark Brown Soft Sugar

Chuck all ingredients in a non-stick pan. Add about half a cup or water. Cook gently, stirring constantly until it's a thick sauce. Add more water if needed.

    This sounds so good! Thanks for posting in grams. I think we'll do foil packets with chicken breast and veggies tonight and throw this sauce on it.
