A Friend shared this with me tonight, and of course, I had to tell ALL of you!

Pretend Ice Cream Sandwiches

Use a Graham Cracker (break in half, use both squares)
Add a dallop of Fat Free Cool Whip
*sandwich the two crackers together*
Freeze until frozen, and eat whenever you'd like! They taste just like an Ice Cream Sandwich!

Sometimes she'll add strawberries to them for variety and will make a dozen or so at a time so they are always ready when she wants something to satisfy her sweet tooth.

Enjoy!

**I put this recipe into my Journal, but didn't copy down all of the nutritional information.**
2 Graham Crackers - 60 Calories
4 TBSP FF Cool Whip - 30 Calories
Only 90 Calories per sandwich (pending how much cool whip you prefer!)

That sounds like such a good alternative. You could really play with that too by using chocolate graham crackers too!

I've done something similar, but with small rice cakes. The caramel flavor is the best!! Spread a little cool whip on one, top with another, and then freeze. Crunchy, creamy, cold- delicious!! I saw it on Hungry Girl one time.
  • ive been mixing sugar free cool whip with jello temptations sugar free chocolate jello ill have to try making a sandwich with it and freezing it sounds great
