do spices have any calories in them?
for example like chilly powder and paprika and stuff?
is there much point of me logging them?

I never log them. I think any calories would be negligible. Just watch for spice mixes that contain lots of salt or sugar.

I try logging them so if I want to repeat a recipe down the road I can, but I still haven't found a chipotle powder entry in the database and I don't have the info to make my own entry so I don't bother with that one. They do have calories but in the amounts we use, it's pretty small.

I don't count spices when I log foods. I just watch salt intake aka sodium.

I don't log my spices unless they have salt in them which I try to avoid.

Aye, some spices are sneaky, the lemon pepper is a bad one, should be lemon zest and pepper, no? the first ingredient is SALT. I previously added lemon pepper and salt to my dish.... blech

It may depend on which brand of spices you're using but I haven't found (or looked hard) for a lemon pepper that doesn't have salt as main ingredient.

If I have the nutritional data I do enter them into recipes.

    If I don't have the nutritional data I don't.

I don't add them when I just sprinkle them on grilled/roasted meat... unless it's a salty spice.
