In need of some motivation and help staying on track. Down 55lbs total so far and have about 35 to go and now my body has changed and got used to my routine and my weight loss has plateaued. It was easy staying motivated when the doctors told me I had to get to a certain weight, but once I reached it and the rest is for myself the motivation just isn't as strong. Help is most definitely needed. I mean common after 55 whats 35 more??

Have you updated your goals in MFP?

What are your current stats? Height/weight/calorie goal? How many lbs do you have the app set to lose?

I know where your coming from. I lost 43 lbs the first 9-10 months and have been stuck there since. I want to loose abought 8 more to reach my goal. But Im at about 1200 a day so it's really hard to cut much more.

Start getting educated about how your body works, organs, kidneys, pancreas... It's fascinating! This will help you understand the inside of you.

Hi there. I've been here since November, 2014. Loving the support and knowledge I've gained from my team I've created. I'm down 27.4 pounds and still going. Add me if you would like!

I have updated my goals, and just ordered the new fit.bitHR so I can have a better idea of how many calories I actually burn during a workout. I am 28, 5'8, 203# calorie goal is 1275, goal is 165. I started at just over 255 the beginning of 2014, it was a rocky start (going back to college/ going though a divorce) but over the past year I have kept off 55#.

Thanks for the support! I added you guys and hope to chat with you soon!

Haha, fortunately I have been. I'm currently going to nursing school and am in the process of becoming a live organ donor for my aunt who is in need of a kidney (that was my initial motivation)

That is so awesome! CONGRATS! There is no better gift! Change things up a bit. If you're used to weights add some cardio, find a workout video you haven't tried yet, do some classes at a local gym... Find something out of the ordinary that's really going to up your cardio if you want to lose those last scummy pounds. Feel free to add me I'd love to help you get motivated.
