I was supposed to do a group run today, but:

-I had a stressful day at work and really wanted to go home and climb into bed
-I had bad 'lady problems' all day
-It was ungodly cold outside
-I was running late to meet up with the group
-The run was the longest I've ever attempted

In my yesterdays, any one of these things might have been an excuse to skip it, but not today.

Today, I ran.

    Well done! It is awesome that you have the control now to make the decision. You've inspired me to go home and hop on the treadmill tonight even though I don't feel like it either!

    Thanks Adrienne! Excuses and procrastination are a big pitfall for me, so this was big.

    That's awesome!
    I had a rough day at work last week and texted my wife that I needed to stop at the gym and work out some of my stress. Not too long ago I would have eaten a box of Girl Scout cookies to make it better.
