I need your help. I`m searching for triggers to stop from eating carbs. I need more protein in my diet. I did do one thing that has helped a bit.....i made up a bunch of sticky notes and wrote Protein on them. Then i stuck them to the bags of carbs. Can you think of anything else i can do?

I try preplanning days until I get my macros in correct proportions. I have similar things each day during the week, which helps. I'll have greek yogurt or cottage cheese as a snack. I make the star of my meals a lean protein such as chicken or venison.

I just bought fiber one mint brownies today and realized they are high in carbs and sugar. Blah. Just when I thought I found something yummy and healthy. ALWAYS read the labels before purchasing! B)

As with any change in life, the first couple of weeks are the hardest and require discipline. After that, the change (your diet in this case) starts becoming routine. Furthermore, if you plan your meals, the "brain change" happens faster, and the routine gets easier. When the weight starts falling off, the appeal of carbs starts to diminish.
