Challenge for my Perfect 10 Buddy Club members

I challenge you to do exercise when commercial breaks come on t.v.

state date: 12/11/08
end date: 12/18/08

Keep track of how many minutes/hours you exercise durring comercial breaks and the winner who has the most extra exercise time wins the challenge.

It would fun to check in daily to see whos ahead and who needs to exercise more to keep the competition going.

Winner can email what they would like as an award. The value should be no more than $10.00

    It sounds fun but I don't watch TV. :) How often do commercial breaks come on? I could try and do something like that with my computer? I haven't watched TV in so long I don't even know when commercials come on or for what length? ):

    OKAY! I'm in then. :)

    I will exercise for 2 minutes after every 15 minute stint on the computer starting tomorrow.

    I'm thinking of doing crunches, wall push ups (because I'm trying to work up to knee push ups... yes I can't do those. ARGH), and maybe some hand stands.

    J/K on that last part!!!! :laugh:

    What kind of exercises is everyone going to do???

    I have a DVR so I can fast forward how does that work :laugh: THis is a great idea however. :drinker:

    If you have some stairs trying running up and down the stairs. Or you could do some jumping jacks. Or some jump rope. You don't even need a jump rope. :drinker:

    i had a busy day , but i did manage to exercise, it felt sooo good:heart:

    the challenge is a good idea, but i already sneak in my workouts when baby's asleep and once she's awake, she's very clingy, so i'll see how it works out for me:smile:

    I'm so glad that we have players for the challenge! :bigsmile:

    I do more cardio than stregth training so this will deffinatley help me to sneak in some more stregth training moves.

    How did everyone do last night? I got in 14 minutes of exercise on the commercail breaks. I did my running after work and would have rather laid on the couch but how could I do that with a challenge hanging over my head? LOL

    Well, I wont be able to check in over the weekend as I don't have a computer at home, but I hope you all have a great weekend and remember to do the challenge!

    I didn't even get a chance to participate yesterday!!!! I worked from 9-9 and literally went to sleep the moment I got home. But I'll try today!

    Ok, I just saw the post and am sad that I didn't see it sooner. Well, I have a DVR, but what I try to do is to start a new type of exercise for one entire show (I usually pick a 60 minute show so that it ends up being 15 minutes of exercise). Is it of I do that?

    Good moring everyone! How is everyone doing with the challenge? Are you remembering to exercise durring commercials? I know it's a busy time of year, so most probably are not watching as much tv as they normally do, I'm not that's for sure.

    As of today, I have only gotten 20 minutes extra of commercial exercise. I havent had much time to watch anything.

    Hope you all are doing well.

    Two more days to go till the end of the challenge.
