Many have posted to loose 10 pounds in a month. @mariamathsgeek I am curious...shouldn't it be best to focus on a pound a week for safe weight loss?
I think it's important for people to set their own goals....and I'm not an expert so I don't think it's down to me to give advice. Everybody is different - for some, slow & steady (eg, 1lb per week) is best and for others (especially if at the start or with a lot to lose) 10lbs in a month is a realistic goal. Personally, I did the January challenge and set my goal to lose 10lbs but actually lost 13lbs. This was because I was at the start of my diet & exercise plan. Unfortunately, circumstances mean that February was not so great for me in terms of weight loss....but I'm hoping March will be good.
This group is all about support & motivation whatever your start weight and whatever your goals....so, everyone, please choose what you think is achievable for you....whether that's a few lbs or 10lbs+. No judgement here!0 -
