Painful truth

I lost 40 lbs over 6 months and kept it off for a year only to put it back on over the following 2 years.

There is only one way to get where you want to go - hard work. Every damn day. I wasn't willing to keep putting in the time and my waist stares me in the face every day.

For those of you who say they've tried everything and nothing works, ask yourself the questions only you can answer - HAVE YOU TRULY DONE WHAT IT TAKES?

Once I realized weight loss was 80% diet and only 20% exercise, things were easy. Seriously, just eliminate all refined carbs from your diet (it's ok to eat them one meal a week or less if you have a craving). Once those are gone you start craving healthy foods insead of junk. Make sure you're getting 1 gram of protein per pound of ideal body weight per day. Start worrying about your health instead of your weight and it's EASY.

No, I haven't. It's really hard because I don't feel fat. I'm working on it though.

Up until this week, no I haven't. I can already tell a huge difference in my results and my confidence after 5 days of really trying, and I must admit, it feels darn* good.
