Belly from babies

Hello! Hopefully there will be some ladies in here that know what I mean but I guess my question is... Will it ever go away?
I have two children, 4 and 7yo. So, I have not been pregnant in 4 years and I still have the kind of pouch on my body from having the kids. I'm doing well losing weight and I'm fit but that doesn't seem to want to shift at all. Is it fat or skin? Will it ever go?
I think my biggest gripe is that it makes me belly look lumpy and bigger than it actually is. Some types of dresses and skirts are out of the question because of this pouch...
Anyone understand or relate?

  • Sorry - forgot to say the most important bit!!
-are there any exercises that will actually get rid of it? I already do a lot of stomach focussed exercises but it doesn't really do anything to the pouch, just makes my core tighter

I have lost the weight, the inches, but not the jelly belly, sorry, but for some they have, takes a lot of serious workouts i guess for women especially to produce abs or flat tummy - so shall leave your question to the experts in here who are more in the know
  • What about arms? Did they very tone back up after babies? I've been working on them and even tho they are thinner, they are still soft and jelly

I have the same issue. I find doing a lot of cardio helps, also the plank gave me some great results at one stage, and I keep meaning to get back to it. When I cut out softdrink (coke zero) a while ago, it made a huge difference (less bloat), but at the moment I cannot live without my coke lol
