hit my first goal

I had very modest goals, nothing like some of the amazing stories of tenacity I read on here, so it's not crazy impressive or anything. My weight slowly crept up starting around 2010 and I landed in 2015 around 190 lbs (69 inches). I made a modest goal of hitting 175 lbs, and I stuck to the calorie counting strategy as best as I could and actually hit it 45 days later! I put my new goal as 170 lbs which is on the outside of my BMI; I'll stabilize and go into maintainence after that. Historically, I'm kind of quick to give up on most things so to me this is a revelation.
Calorie counting really worked for me. I can't believe I'm going to be back at 2007 weight in about 5 more weeks! I feel like I have my own body back.
