Currently I am going to old-school gym with limited facilities. I decided to go to a better gym with better infrastructure. But then I realized I won't be building any muscles as I am on a deficit and cutting. So my question is 'Is it worth going to the new gym?'

Pros
-better infrastructure
-good environment
-better staff

Cons
-more cost
-no muscle building

Being in a cut should not factor into what gm you go to.

that's like asking if I should foam roll because my work gave me a raise.

The two have nothing to do with each other.

Just because you are not "building" muscles doesn't mean you can't use & strengthen & maintain what you have within reason. If a better gym affords you better infrastructure -that you will utilize-, then I would say go for it. We chose a higher-infrastructure gym just to give ourselves more options for activity during weightloss, and I am glad we did. We like the environment and staff as well; the extra expense is totally worth it to us.

Ultimately, do your pros outweigh your cons? I doubt anyone can answer that question other than you.
