What's so "new" about the New P90?

... Just wondering.

I did P90X a couple of years ago (though, regrettably didn't finish). Is the X really for "Extreme", as in harder?

I don't plan on going back on one of these programs (trying to make a lifestyle instead of depending on programs), but the recent posts about the "New" P90 have made me curious.

Just looked him up it was a pretty cool challenge!! I still don't know what the difference between P90 and P90X are though... is P90 easier?

I haven't done either one but Power 90 is supposed to be for beginners. Some also call P90X Power 90 Extreme.

P90 is more of a beginner workout. They are marketing it as for people who have always wanted to do P90X but thought it was too difficult/workouts too long.

This new Power 90 is also supposed to be updated with the latest workouts that are now popular.

Hmmm maybe P90 (no X) would have been more up my alley and maybe something I could actually finish lol
  • I have been doing p90 for 3 weeks and love it. I had a starting weight 407.1. I can do 99% of the things they do. It's a great workout. Its been life changing. I'm down 16 lbs.

I have been doing P90 for 7 weeks. Its a good beginner workout and the workouts aren't as long as P90X.
