I would probably stay away from licking the bowl. It's just empty calories and although it may be tasty, it is very difficult to log and just not worth it.

I'd log as 1/8 to 1/4 a slice of cake depending on how much there is left in the bowl. It won't be accurate, but it'll be close.

I do a lot of baking, so on days when I'm baking and tasting everything I usually quick add 100-200 calories, depending on the amount of tasting I do.

    No calories.

    Just like Grandma's cooking.

    (Just kidding, of course)

 If you eat raw cake batter while standing up there are no calories because they fall straight through your feet

Instead of licking the bowl, use a spatula and squeegee it all into a measuring cup. Then you'll know about how much is there. And then eat it with a spoon. Not that I've ever done this.

I cant see the calories content... maybe if you really want to be specific... log "cake" (whatever variety) and do like 1 12th of it.. maybe?

Don't count. Nor do crisps stolen off the children. Or individual raspberries.

Use a spatula then you won't have anything left to lick.

When you take into consideration ALL the calories you burn (walking all over the kitchen, gathering ingredients/supplies, and all that MIXING, whew!), it's really a wash. So *technically*, you were at a calorie deficit before you even got to the bowl-licking.
