    Diet whey?

If you are just talking about a protein supplement, it is to get your protein levels up for the day if you can't do it with real food. There is nothing magical that will make you lose weight with it.

It is in lots of protein bars and protein powders. People can gain weight on it depending on how much they eat.

Unless you're a vegan/vegetarian do you really need to buy these powders? They are full of chemicals such as soy protein isolate. It's better to get your protein from eating natural foods. How about greek yogurt.

Diet whey makes no sense to me. Never has. Just a marketing ploy.

If you want to use the standard whey because it helps you meet your protein requirements then I'm all for it. But protein powder isn't going to be what's responsible for your weight loss, being in an overall caloric deficit will be.

i didnt realize this was a thing. i guess i was assuming OP meant regular ol' whey protein.
