Whey Protein Shake

I have been drinking one after my weight workouts at Gold's. I really like it. It satisfies my hunger and I know I am getting the protein I need before my next meal.

Can you "pro's" suggest how you make your shakes (ingrediants and amounts of each?).

I read about using a scoop of whey. Is there a scoop that comes with the Whey? Does it matter where you buy the Whey? Does it matter if I get it from the grocery store, Gold's, or GNC?

Thanks.

The protein should come with a scooper in it, I've bought several different brands and they've all had a scooper that they use for measurement.

Mine are pretty plain when I make them. 1 scoop of whey and either unsweetened vanilla almond milk or whole or skim dairy milk. If I work out in the morning I'll throw some ice into coffee then add my protein shake to it for iced protein coffee to start my day.

I've drank a lot of whey in my day. If you want somewhere to start, buy some from body building .com and you can see top rated and lots of reviews and all the ingredients. I like to drink mine chocolate flavor (1 scoop) with a 1/4c of raw oats, 8oz unsweetened almond milk, and 2T peanut butter. It's very well rounded and satisfies hunger. Or, I'll just drink whey and skim milk. Gold standard is my favorite brand. No weird ingredients, mixes well, and tastes great. Been drinking it for years.

I took the dive and bought MetRX Vanilla Whey from Gold's, got one of their cups with the compartment on the bottom and measuring calibrations on the side, then went to the grocery store and bought Silk Unsweetened Almond Milk and mixed up my first batch. Damn it was good. I was really surprised. This will really help me out after working out.

    Thanks for your suggestions.
