    My sons doctor wants him to lose weight so I'm adding him into this challenge with me.

    Hi Everyone!!!

    Thank you all for joining in the March challenge. I had a great January but a not so great February. I really set my sights on making March a good month for my weight loss goals....but I've had a tough start, I'm afraid. I've been in pain with sciatica since Sunday so have been unable to exercise and have done a little bit of comfort eating.

    Anyway, as the OP of this thread, I try to read all posts and chip in with snippets every now and then. Just wanted to say welcome along to everyone and good luck!!!

    Hopefully, my sciatica will go in the next few days and I'll be able to crack on with my plans. I'll try to make my next post a more positive one too!!!

    Thanks all of you.let's all lose weight this month we can do this by motivating each other.and for my son I just want him to be lighter then he is now in 2 months. I want the doctor to know I'm doing what I'm suppose to do as a mom.but I do believe his weight gain is something medical

    WhooHooo, so far I have lost 3.5lbs. I really haven't done anything drastic. I am literally just trying to get 10,000-12,000 steps a day, logging everything I eat (I haven't cut things out, just smaller amounts), watching my portions, NOT snacking late at night and trying to drink more water. My goal is to lose 7lbs in March…Looks very doable so far! ;-) I just need to keep at this!

    Successes/struggles this week: I'm trying this again after last month just didn't really work for me at all. I had a bit of a hellish time with a cold and some very messed up hormonal imbalances. This month I want to have better control and a more sensible approach to my exercise and eating. The end of the month is a weekend in the Lake District climbing the tallest mountain in England so I am aiming to hit Onederland by then :smile:

    Successes/struggles this week: not expecting any good results for the first week as have had 4 days off exercise to let my legs have a rest as I was getting some aching which the break has resolved, they also now feel much stronger for some reason. Also have been going slightly over my calories just for a couple of days for a treat as I did so well in February but back to being focused again now for the rest of the month. Would love to see under 220 at the end of the month but anything under 224 I'll be more than happy with.

    Last month's challenge was a huge success, let's hope this one goes just as well. I'm going to Hawaii for 2 weeks with the family and hope to get lots of exercise and eat lots of healthy fruits and seafood but hope I don't over indulge.

    Since I started tracking last week I am down 5 lbs. I am super excited this morning! This will help the motivation for the next week...hopefully! My struggle thus far has been trying to find the perfect balance of food so that I stay within my calorie goal but not feel hungry. I think I am getting there.
