My first day on the new diet, I just hope I can follow through!

    Remember, this is a lifestyle change, NOT a diet. Don't think is a diet b/c if you do u just going to get bored. Good luck and be strong if I can so can you. feel free to add me as a friend if you need motivation and support.

    Welcome...and think of it as a lifestyle not a diet!

    I tend not to like the "D"word as it implies something temporary. i.e. You go on a diet for 6 weeks, you lose 20 lbs... and look at that, you are no longer on a diet... you gain 25 lbs back.

    You'll find lots of support for leading a healthy lifestyle here and hopefully make lots of supportive friends.

    You can do it! This website is such a great tool if you use it right. You have to log everything or you'll only cheat yourself out of success. It helps motivate me to work out when I've had too many calories in a day, and it makes me think about everything I put in my mouth since I have to be honest with myself and post it to my food diary.
