Is it ok to include "total steps" from your pedometer?

I've had a few injuries and can't work out too much but calculate steps all day. But some of them are obviously walking to the kitchen and back etc. Do these all count in the long run towards "activity"??? Many thanks

Sedentary includes basic movement ... it's actually figured at 120% of BMR. I wouldn't recommend including steps from normal activity as exercise.0

It's not recommended unless your using a tracker that links to MFP and determines what is actually extra (MFP already accounts for some activity, even with the sedentary setting).0
