    He's using the MFP interpretive scale. To wit:

    MFP 1-4 = these numbers do not exist on MFP
    MFP 5 = real life 1-2, you likely have severe personality issues
    MFP 6 = real life 3, not getting laid
    MFP 7 = real life 5, might actually do you and the right person might find you attractive
    MFP 8 = real life 6, genuinely attractive to most people
    MFP 9 = real life 6, but with personal attachment/stalking included as bonus prize
    MFP 9+ = real life 7, would totally do you but too repressed to come out and say it
    MFP 10 = pity on grand scale, real life 4
