No appetite
anyone know anyway to increase your appetite? I've always been underweight and I'd love to gain. I know I don't eat enough, but I'm never hungry.

Calorie dense foods...nuts, seeds, avocados, good fats (olive oil in dressing etc), eggs, cheese, full fat milk, nut butters. Eat yoghurt or cottage cheese with fruit. Splash out occasionally have pizza, takeaway, etc. Make smoothies from milk, yoghurt, banana, almond butter or flax seed oil..add whey protein powder if inclined.0

Eat until you're full then drink the rest of your calories to meet your goal.0

Eat calorific foods and drinking extra calories, as mentioned, will also help. How many calories are you trying to add?0

If you're trying to gain weight, then it's no longer about eating when you're hungry: it's about eating to gain. Try eating more calorie-dense foods. Set a timer and eat when the timer goes off, regardless of whether or not you are hungry.
(The converse of this is also true--when you are trying to lose weight, it's no longer about eating every time you are hungry...)0 -
I myself have a difficult time eating regularly due to lack of appetite. I do find that eating just because I need to causes me to get sick and I end up regurgitating all that I've eaten. Have you thought about taking multi vitamins or speaking with your doctor about any other supplements that may help increase your appetite? Since I started taking vitamins daily I've noticed a slight increase in my appetite and have tried to plan out my meals. Calorie dense protein shakes before bed are a great way to gain if you don't have an appetite. Try making a protein smoothie with amplified mass protein powder, high fat yogurt or milk, fruit, oatmeal, and nuts. Play around with flavors and ingredients to help get you where you're trying to go. remember gaining weight takes time for some just like loosing so don't expect results right away. take it one day at a time. never thought about it like this, but so true. I am on the opposite end, want to eat all the time but wondering how the other side lives so this is interesting. We both have to eat the amount of calories that is right for us, make yourself do right. At first I thought just grab a pizza, chocolate cake but I am sure it is the same telling us that gain weight to eat salads.0
