and it wasn't too bad! I hadn't run for about 18 months when I started again about 6 weeks ago. Clearly looking after twins 24/7 keeps you fitter than I thought! Now just hoping the scales FINALLY dip below 224 soon (225.4 at the moment!). Anyone else got any fitness successes to share?

Wow someone that understands me. My twins are 9 months old and I break a sweat everyday just by getting them ready for daycare. I just began running the couch to 5k and it's awesome. I am currently stuck at 221 I had been at a plateau for a couple of weeks. Running combined with hitting the weight room I went from 127 to 121. My goal is to get to 160. Feel free to add me for motivation. Good to see someone I have something in common with.

Good on you! - I started c25k in Jan - doing week 9 now and so surprised that I can run for 30 minutes!!! I am at 212 now - but started at 226 - I am sure your scale will drop soon sometimes it's like groundhog day then all of a sudden- you're dancing round the bathroom with joy.
    - I'm going to keep up with the running - can't wait to see what it's like when I weigh less!
    - BTW from nil to 60 minutes in 6 weeks is amazing.

Thank you! In fairness I used to run A LOT and then got lazy, then I got fat and then I got pregnant so all in all not conducive to running! I'm taking it slow (speed wise) at the moment and just running until I get too tired to keep running (unless I'm interrupted by my babies squeaking!).

Congrats on the c25k. I basically did a homemade version of that back when I started running for the first time. I nearly died the first time I ran 30 minutes back then but kept at it and came to love running!
